I’m looking forward to the update to ACR 11.6 and will spend more time looking for better effects for my ProPhoto Raw files.
The new Lightroom CC also has major changes as well. It is now much faster than previously with a more refined workflow than Lightroom 4. It’s also now more stable and has full working with all new models and new features.
For designers out there, the new Photoshop version has one new feature really worth your time:
Raw Photo Size Slider for design and non-destructive editing; it looks like a single slider but it’s instead a size mode that might be useful for various experiments with different versions of Photoshop.
The new version of Lightroom also addresses:
* Content Aware Fill which replaces the old Good Paint selection to fill missing parts from other images
* Performance is now even better with a more stable UI & command-line access than before.
* Photoshop Mix is now even more powerful with layer reordering, re-arranging and order functions combined with the powerful Content Aware Fill engine
* The right Windows version was found this time & now one long-time bug was fixed.
* The difficult to use curves panel has been improved as well with many new features.
